Lifeless body of two more students of Greenfield university has been discovered by security agencies.
A statement released on Monday, April 26 by the Kaduna State government confirmed the sad development, TrillerTunes reports.
Recall that the students were kidnapped a few days ago in their school premises by some gun wielding bandits. Days later the bandits killed three of the abducted students after their demands were not met by the government and families of the students.
The news of the recovery of two more bodies of the student, however, broke the internet a few moments ago just after the Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s led government delegates had visited families of the earlier slain students.
Confirming the recent discovery in a statement on Monday (today), Mr Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs Kaduna State, noted that security agencies hinted the State Government of the recovery and that the retrieved corpses have been evacuated to a mortuary while the university has been notified of the development as well.
“The Government of Kaduna State under the leadership of Malam Nasir El-Rufai is saddened by this evil perpetrated against innocent students abducted while pursuing their education for a glorious future,” the statement by Aruwan reads.
It added: “The Government sends its deep empathy to their families and the university management, and prays for the repose of their souls.
“The Government will update the citizenry on further developments,” it added.
