Don’t give up!!
A Facebook user simply known as Jane Omeni recently took to Facebook to share her story of her struggles in life, and proceeded to encourage people not to give up.
Jane Omeni wrote:
I finished Secondary in the year 2007. I wrote jamb 2008 and I got 266 as my jamb score. I had already planned my life. But admission was not forthcoming. I tried all I could do to get admission but too no avail. So I decided to go learn some skills…. my junior ones got admission without stress… During those years of waiting, I was facing terrible challenges. Sometimes I felt like giving up but then I could not just give up when I know a lot of people are looking upon me. A friend of mine told me to follow her to Italy and make 50,000 dollars in a month as a runs girl. The pay was much but my lifestyle doesn’t fit into that picture cause my life does not reflect on my Now but my future. A lot of mind-blowing offers but head-cutting ending, I declined them all. Most of my friends who knew me was like you have a strong heart. Despite all that was happening to me my joy was intact. Although I will cry and wet my pillow at night but in the morning I will rise like a queen and smile. I graduated last year while our last born will be graduating this year… I can’t start narrating my stories in detail. A lot really happened. But I am here because God kept me.
I don’t know what you are going through, your challenges might be worst than mine. You feel rejected, lonely and miserable. But I just wanna let you know that you should keep your hopes alive. A living dog is better than a dead lion. Keep smiling it helps to confuse your enemies.
