Ebuka was born on July 14th, 1982 to a banker father who resides in Edo in Benin city in Nigeria. Ebuka is in the 3rd position out of the 4 children given to the family of Mr Uchendu.

Ebuka did his nursery and primary education from the Midwestern Nigerian city of Benin and was given a double promotion to Jss1 before the family later relocated down to Abuja where he continued his education.
Ebuka moved further to Christ and King’s College in Abuja for his secondary school education and finished in 1997.
Ebuka Obi proceeded to the University of Abuja to study law and graduated in 2004, He then took another step to Nigerian Law school in Bwari, Abuja. Ebuka worked for roughly 5 good years before he went back for his master’s degree in Washington College of Law in the United States.
Ebuka with his degrees specializes in intellectual property as well as communication law from the laws and government program.
Careerwise, Ebuka is a National TV presenter, hoster of different programs, in 2006 Ebuka was part of the 14 housemates on the first-ever season of the popular reality show Big Brother Naija.
He has been active since then till now as the most visibly successful BBN 2006 housemate. After the show, Ebuka was able to sign an endorsement that deals with a major telecommunications brand, also into a popular brewing company and he was also the hoster of friend /foe on NTA the Glo show.
Ebuka hosted a program on Guinness’ Greatness TV and did anchor a weekly volume called “Contrast” with a Nigerian National Daily Newspaper.

July 2016, Ebuka as well became the co-hosting of the Spot and Men’s corner Nigeria’s first all-male TV talk show on Ebony Live TV along sides Lamide, Akintobi, and Zainab Balogun.
And in 2017, Ebuka was also announced as the host of the second and the third season of Big Brother Naija.

Ebuka is happily married to Cynthia Obianodo the HR manager who is the daughter of Vincent Obianodo the owner of ‘The young shall grow transport company and Rock view hostels in Lagos, Nigeria.

They got married on the 6th of February 2016 in Abuja and on the 8th of November 2016, they welcomed their first child. Cynthia Uchendu revealed that both of them met on Twitter.
