Fetish items spotted in front of Abia police station, allegedly a protection against attacks

There was a barrage of reactions on social media on Wednesday, June 23 after an image surfaced online showing a fetish object in front of a Police state in Umahia.

TrillerTunes understands that residents of Bende road in Umuahia, capital of Abia State woke up on Tuesday morning to a sight of the ‘juju’ items close to a police post.

According to reports, human and vehicular movements were been restricted at the location where the fetish item was placed. Some residents who discussed briefly the development said the items were placed there to protect security operatives from a series of attacks.

TrillerTunes understands that Abia State is one of the states where gunmen suspected to be members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), the armed wing of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), have staged multiple attacks.

However, no comment has been made yet by the state police command on the viral photos which has stirred reactions on social media.
