Open grazing ban: Whose interest is Buhari’s government protecting? – Omokri asks

Reno Omokri, a former aide to one time Nigerian leader, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has called out President Muhammadu Buhari’s led government over its stand on ban on open grazing.

It could be recalled that Southern governors some days ago met in Asaba, Delta State capital, where they unitedly resolved to ban open grazing in their various states.

The resolution which was applauded by citizens in the Southern part of the country, was however condemned by the presidency, TrillerTunes understands.

Reacting to the federal government’s position on the matter, Omokri on Tuesday, May 25 took to his verified Twitter page to call out the Buhari administration.

He tweeted: “If majority of Nigerian states have banned Open Grazing, and the Federal Government is against that ban, the question we should be asking is this: whose interest is Muhammadu Buhari’s Federal Government protecting?

Obviously, it is not the interest of majority of Nigerians,” Omokri pointed out.
