Popular Nigerian music star, vocal coach, model and actress, Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, known as Seyi Shay has announced the arrival of her first child.
On January 18th 2022, SeyiShay revealed she was engaged to aman during an interview on the ‘Morning Rush Show’ on Beat FM after much pressure from fans to get married and have babies.
She made it known that her relationship with her new found love is going on nicely, adding that her partner added to her glow. She also flaunted her diamond ring which she said is a real diamond.
Earlier this year, the music star validated the rumour of her pregnancy. Shethen flaunted her growing baby bump on anewly-released music video that got Nigerians reacting but didn’t disclose any detail of her partner on social media.
“I won’t disclose the identity of my partner” Seyi Shay said.
Before her delivery, the music star spoke about pregnancy, music career, her thoughts on the industry contention and the next chapter of her life.
In a recent interview with Blanck magazine, Seyi Shay said “I’m grateful for how far I’ve come, and I know I’m still on a journey. So if this is just the middle, I’m grateful for the journey and looking forward to the future. I’m happy that I’m still progressing”.
Seyi Shay made the announcement in a post on her Instagram page on Friday, April 23rd 2022 with a picture of herself heavily pregnant with the caption “The eagle has landed, thank you all for your well wishes. What a journey it has been. We love you”.
The news of Seyi Shay’s delivery came days after she posted appealing pictures and videos of her very intimate baby shower held for her sometime last week.
Seyi Also revealed the gender of her newborn baby, a girl.
Congratulatory messages flooded in from friends, fans and other celebrities on the arrival of the new baby.
However, the music star has refused to disclose any detail about her partner and father of her new child.
Fans waits in great anticipation for Seyi Shay to reveal the father of her child as no picture posted on social media has any sign of him.
