Tems Early Life.

Temilade Openiyi better and professionally known as Tems was born in Lagos State Nigeria on the 11th of June 1995 to a Nigerian mother and a British Nigerian father, Shortly after her birth, her family relocated to the United Kingdom. When she was five years old, her parents divorced.

Tems relocated back to Nigeria with her brother and mother where they resided in Ilupeju, Lagos State Nigeria. Tems attended Dowen College in Lagos State Lekki precisely before going to Monash University in South Africa to study Economics. Tems is 27 years old at the moment of writing this content.

Tems Career.

Tems left her job in 2018 to pursue a career in music. Tems recorded her first single on 18 July 2018, which she tagged “Mr Rebel”, the song was produced by herself. And on the 7th of August 2019, she released her second single which she tagged “Try Me”. Which was a hit track in 2020.

On 25 September 2020, Tems released her first body of work extended play, (EP) which she tagged “For Broken Ears” And on September 2021, Tems was signed to RCA records, and she released her second body of work, Extended Play (EP) which she tagged “If Orange Was a Place”, which reached the top ten on the Billboard World Albums chart.
