Woman accuses APC of using her tomato factory to score ‘political points’ – [photos]

A woman identified as Mira {@shoutsandmiras] on Twitter has accused the All Progressive Congress, APC, of clout chasing after one of its social handles shared photos of her company in Nigeria in an attempt to score ‘political points’.

TrillerTunes understands that the APC handle, [@APCNigeria] had shared photos of the said tomato factory in Jos, with some persons suspected to be members of the party walking around the factory as if they were inspecting it.

The handle had claimed in the post which TrillerTunes understands have been taken down, that “This newly built Tomato Jos processing factory in Kaduna begins its first production, 1 year after construction of the N4bn plant began. Farmers who used to discard their excess yields during gluts in the North West will now have a steady demand for their products to make paste”.

Reacting to the post after sighting it, Mira wrote: “This is false information. I am the owner of this factory, which is a private initiative. Please take down this tweet and do not use my company for any political agenda. Thank you.

She added: “The newly built and production run parts are true, but we did not spend as much as they quoted and I’d really rather not have my many years off hard work be used for clout in an election cycle.

See screenshots of the tweets below before it was taken down by the APC support handle.

Meanwhile, Mira had in another post earlier narrated how she started the Tomato farming and food processing company in Jos, Plateau State.
